Ingredients


1 pound of Italian sausage

1/2 pound of ground beef

2 cloves of garlic

32 ounces of marinara sauce

1 pound of ricotta cheese

1 egg

8 ounces of deli sliced chicken breast 

1cup of mozzarella cheese

¾ cups grated parmesan

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 F

Take a medium size pot or your Dutch oven

Put the sausage in the ground beef and garlic you can also add onions if you like. Cook on medium heat until meat is brown. Remove from heat.

Take medium-size bowl, combined the ricotta egg and salt.

Now to assemble the lasagna, spread 11/2 cups of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 13 x 9“ baking dish. Arrange half your chicken slices over the meat sauce, then take your ricotta mixture and spread it over the chicken breast, then repeat the process so you have a few layers top with your mozzarella and Parmesan and the rest of your meat sauce mixture. Cover with aluminum foil bake for 25 minutes then uncover bake for additional 25 minute. Let it cool for 15 minutes. 



Tips

If you would like you can add more vegetables to your lasagna like mushrooms onions peppers olives
